Applicants from low- and middle-income nations who want to enroll in part-time, distance learning postgraduate programs at UK universities are eligible to apply for the University of Edinburgh Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships. These scholarships, which are awarded for up to five years of part-time study and are completely funded by the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission (CSC) within the UK government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, cover tuition costs in full.
Eligibility Criteria :
- must be a British Protected Person, a citizen of an eligible Commonwealth nation, or a refugee from that nation.
- must live continuously and permanently in a Commonwealth nation that qualifies.
- A minimum of an upper second-class (2:1) undergraduate degree is required; candidates with less education may still be taken into consideration provided they have enough relevant work experience.
- must be unable to continue with the program without the scholarship and exhibit financial need.
