Applications are now being accepted for a number of fully funded PhD scholarships at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) for the 2025 academic year. These esteemed opportunities, which are open to both local and international students, give candidates the chance to work on cutting-edge and significant research at one of Europe’s top universities that emphasizes sustainability and multidisciplinary cooperation.
The wide range of cutting-edge research topics covered by the scholarships reflects NMBU’s dedication to solving global issues. NPQ (non-photochemical quenching) analysis is used to identify photoacclimation components across species and genotypes, photosynthetic phenotyping of plants under steady-state and fluctuating light conditions, temperature mapping of photosynthetic phenotype development, and applying a newly developed NPQ mapping pipeline to crop species fluorescence data.
In order to finish their PhD within the allotted scholarship period, successful applicants will be expected to create a thorough strategy for their research early in the appointment period.
