The White House Internship Program 2025, which will be held at the White House in Washington, D.C., is currently accepting applications. Students can strengthen their leadership skills and obtain valuable professional experience through this esteemed public service leadership program.
By providing mentorship, experiential learning, and exposure to the inner workings of the U.S. government, the program aims to empower the upcoming generation of public servants. Its goal is to act as a link between aspiring public servants and future prospects, demonstrating the White House’s dedication to being the “People’s House.”
Those now enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs are eligible for the internship. Interns will be encouraged to participate in worthwhile programs and initiatives while working with White House personnel, including those who assist the President and First Lady. The initiative is a reflection of the Trump Administration’s commitment to developing future leaders who are prepared to serve their nation.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be at least eighteen years old and a citizen of the United States.
- One of the following requirements for education or service must be fulfilled:
- have finished at least two semesters before the internship begins and are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college, community college, or university (2- or 4-year institution).
- have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at a two- or four-year university within two years of the start of the internship.
- Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and be a veteran of the United States Armed Forces who served on active duty at any time during the two years prior to the start of the internship.
- Full-time employment, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., is required.
