Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) is currently accepting applications for its fully paid internship program, the METI Japan Internship Program 2025. This initiative, which is open to international students from qualified nations, links Japanese small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) that are experiencing a labor shortage with talent from across the world.
The internship offers flexible participation choices in two formats: online and on-site in Japan. Interns will obtain practical experience, professional skills, and exposure to Japanese business culture by working with Japanese companies in a variety of industries, including finance.
This program promotes worldwide networking and cross-cultural exchange in addition to assisting Japanese companies with innovation and international expansion. Students and young professionals have a fantastic opportunity to advance their professions and support global cooperation at the same time.
