A Chinese initiative larger than Disneyland to conquer the Moon is underway. Skynet will monitor the moonbase. The International Lunar Research Station will be protected by the Lunar Skynet, the world’s largest security camera network with over 600 million units.
The lunar station will have an AI-powered security system with the newest cameras to recognise, track, and target suspicious activity. A report from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Zhejiang University states that the system will inform us and take particular actions if deviations occur, but details are kept hidden.
The four-mile lunar research outpost will have a command centre, power plant, communication station, and extensive research facilities. Initial development using moon soil is expected in 2028.
The Chinese Academy of Engineering’s Ding Lieyun is designing the “Chinese Super Masons” robot, a cutting-edge technology. This robotic marvel will create lunar soil bricks, a key component of lunar livable construction. Ding Lieyun suggests building the lunar community as a long-term exploration mission, despite current challenges. Besides creating a lunar colony, China wants to collect samples from the moon’s near and far sides, starting in 2025. China’s space exploration programme relies on Moon’s atmosphere to demonstrate its ability to use new technology after Earth’s boundaries.
