Applications for the 2025–26 COMPASS Fellowship Scheme are currently being accepted by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in collaboration with the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP). With the help of this prestigious fellowship, citizens of sub-Saharan African nations can pursue a completely financed master’s degree by distance learning (MSc by DL) in either epidemiology or clinical trials, together with an internship that focuses on research or policy.
Through the support of individuals dedicated to tackling the continent’s most urgent health issues, the COMPASS Fellowship seeks to enhance public health and research capacity throughout Africa. Researchers based in low-capacity African institutions, non-anglophone candidates who meet English language proficiency standards, women researchers, and those who have a post-training placement secured or are willing to be paired with one are also encouraged to apply.
Selected candidates will receive a top-notch education, hands-on experience in global health research or policy, and the tools necessary to significantly impact their communities and beyond through this fellowship.
