Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is offering outstanding candidates worldwide a fully supported opportunity to pursue a full-time PhD in education-related disciplines through the NIE PhD Scholarship 2025. A monthly stipend of S$2,500 to S$2,700 is provided, along with complete tuition coverage. After passing the qualifying exam, there is an extra S$500 top-up. CPF contributions are also available to Singaporeans. Subject to satisfactory academic achievement, the scholarship is granted for a year and can be renewed every year for a maximum of four years.
Under the Graduate Assistantship Program (GAP), scholars must engage in research or teaching responsibilities. Candidates must hold another paid job or scholarship at the same time, and they must have at least a bachelor’s degree with second upper-class honors, ideally with a related master’s.
Research in a variety of areas, including curriculum studies, educational psychology, learning sciences, and arts education, is supported by the program.
