German and foreign students can apply for fully financed Ph.D. scholarships at the National High-Performance Computing (NHR) Graduate School in Germany. The NHR Scholarship provides access to training seminars, soft skill development, mentorship, and a monthly stipend of €2,200 in addition to full tuition for three years. Every year, outstanding applicants from all across the world are given these scholarships.
Candidates must be very interested in high-performance computing and possess a master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, the natural sciences, or a similar discipline.
Nine NHR Centers, each connected to a leading German institution renowned for its prowess in AI/ML, numerical simulation, and HPC, host the initiative. For PhD study, each institution provides a variety of research topics.
Eligibility Criteria :
- possess a master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, the natural sciences, or a similar field.
- Meet the requirements for doctorate admission established by the overseeing NHR Center.
- Respect any extra requirements specified in the doctorate regulations related to your field; only the most recent, official versions of these regulations are legally binding.
- People of all genders, countries, and backgrounds are welcome to apply.
