Overseas students have a fantastic opportunity to study for master’s and doctoral degrees in the US through the Louisiana State University (LSU) Scholarship. The chosen applicants will be hired as Graduate Research Assistants and will be compensated with tuition reimbursement, health insurance coverage, and a living stipend.
This award is provided by LSU’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering’s SIMSIS Laboratory. Several highly motivated MS and PhD candidates are being actively sought by the lab to start in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or potentially Fall 2026.

- solid background in fundamental structural engineering concepts and structural health monitoring (SHM)
- Expertise in digital or numerical simulation techniques, including Finite Element Modeling

- strong desire to work together in interdisciplinary domains, such as data visualization, computer science, and engineering
