Ukraine need more Soldiers

Published:

Because Russia is making progress, Ukraine requires additional military.

At the moment that the sirens began to sound, the small group of ladies considered calling off their ongoing demonstration. Nevertheless, it proceeded regardless of the fact that Kyiv was once again the target of a missile assault. Bringing along Antonina was her son Sasha, who is three years old.
“My dad does not go home,” I said. We are expecting him to arrive. The young child responded, “I’m waiting for my dad to come back,” and he continued.
Alexander Antonina, while holding a sign that read “Fair Deadlines for Demobilization,” stated that her husband was now serving in a mortar unit near Bakhmut, which is located in the eastern part of Ukraine. Sasha is the recipient of her attempts to rationalize his absence, as she has not seen him in the past five months.
I explain to my son that his father is on the job, that he is serving in the military, and that he is making money.
At the moment, there is no statutory cut-off associated with mobilization periods; they are open-ended. Just two years ago, just after Russia’s full-scale invasion, Antonina’s husband volunteered to serve in the military. She stated to CNN that he had served his time, which is now 43 years old.
It is difficult for my husband to spend this amount of time on the ground, avoiding all of the shells and completing everything he needs to do at the front line, she added. “It is difficult for him to endure this length of time.”
Inside the strongly guarded parliament building in Kyiv, parliamentarians were debating potential changes to the laws governing the mobilization of Ukrainian forces. This was just a short distance away from where the women were standing. A new law that is likely to pave the stage for a major rise in the number of people who are required to serve in the military could be passed within the next few weeks.
