Azam Warsak Witnesses Successful Launch of Five-Day Anti-Polio Drive

Published:

From Sunday, February 29th, to March 4th, 2024, Azam Warsak of Birmall Tehsil, Lower South Waziristan, hosted the anti-polio campaign for five days. Police and health institutions collaborated on the project to offer society all safety and health services.

The polio campaign encompasses Azam Warsak, Kalotai, Kalusha, Zalai, Lewa Kanda, Upper Daza Ghundai, Upper Dana, Lower Dana, Kazha Pangah, Khawaza Pangah, Landi Doag, Zerghoza, Ashraf Khel, Kar, and many other locations.

Polio eradication requires all legitimate authorities to work together. Campaign safety and health are their responsibility. Community participation and child immunisation are progressing well, according to their report. This effort becomes more crucial as the police emphasise that the polio campaign will continue until the outbreak ends.

This historic programme represents a community, health, and police endeavour to ensure the health and welfare of the next generation and end polio. Polio elimination in Azam Warsak is a shared endeavour that represents hope and progress.
