Novacare Hospitals and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust will open Pakistan’s first internationally partnered hospital in Islamabad by 2026, changing healthcare. The agreement is a major step in providing high-quality medical services to Pakistanis.
A 225,000-square-foot state-of-the-art hospital in DHA Phase-V Islamabad will result from the USD 110 million investment. Imperial College Healthcare professionalises and advises the hospital to implement the highest clinical standards and processes utilised by London’s Imperial College Healthcare institutions.
An experienced healthcare practitioner, Mr. Johannes (Hans) Kedzierski, will lead this initiative to provide a full range of tertiary care spanning 28 clinical services in a 250-bed, 550,000-square-foot facility. HKS designed the hospital for sustainability and user comfort. Additionally, it seeks LEED, WELL, EDGE, and JCI certifications for service quality.
Novacare proposes to establish a network of sophisticated medical institutions in Pakistan’s major cities and in Islamabad. This comprises satellite clinics, day surgery centres, diagnostics collection centres, medical education facilities, and a digital care navigation tool to make healthcare services nationwide more accessible. From high-quality to innovation, Pakistan’s standards, accessibility, and patient care will improve with Imperial College Healthcare’s aid.
