KROC IPJ WOMEN PEACEMAKERS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2024 FOR WOMEN PEACEBUILDERS (USD $15,000 STIPEND)

Do you have a strong commitment to gender equality and peacebuilding? If so, take advantage of the chance to apply to the esteemed Women PeaceMakers Fellowship programme, which is run by the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice (Kroc IPJ) in the Kroc School of the University of San Diego. Since its inception in 2002, this revolutionary initiative has given peacebuilders the capacity to significantly influence world peace and conflict resolution.


Eligibility:

  • Open to peacebuilders from all backgrounds and regions, regardless of gender identity.
  • No discrimination based on sex, gender, or any other protected status in the application process.
  • Applicants from any country are welcome, provided they can travel to the United States for the residency.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in peacebuilding required.
  • Proficiency in English is necessary for full participation in Fellowship activities.

Fellowship Objectives:

  • Engage with fellow peacebuilders and the Kroc School team to exchange knowledge and insights.
  • Explore past Fellow experiences and learn from their diverse perspectives.
  • Acquire new skills, innovative approaches, and fresh perspectives on peacebuilding.
  • Expand your professional network and forge meaningful partnerships.
  • Contribute to cutting-edge peacebuilding research that informs practice and policy.

Fellowship Themes:

Each year, the Fellowship focuses on a specific theme to guide research and collaboration. Ideal applicants will have relevant experience and expertise related to the chosen theme.

Stipend:

Fellows will receive a generous stipend of USD $15,000, along with coverage of program-related expenses.
