2024 University of Kent Burnett Scholarship | Fully Funded

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the University of Kent is thrilled to launch the inaugural Burnett Scholarship programme, which is intended primarily for applicants interested in the DICE Masters programme from the KAZA region of Africa.

The university will give out up to six scholarships in 2024, with further funding available for the next two years, thanks to the kind sponsorship of the Notsew Orm Sands Foundation. A fully financed studentship for the taught Masters programme in conservation science will be awarded to the successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be nationals of, or hold official refugee status in, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of work experience in the conservation sector.
  • A good undergraduate degree with a minimum of a UK 2:1 or equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must meet the UK Visas and Immigration specifications and University of Kent English language requirements.
