Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates for the NPU President Scholarship in China must be non-Chinese citizens and have current passports.
- Applicants to undergraduate programs must be under 25 years old on September 1, 2024, and possess a high school diploma.
- Applicants to master’s programs must be under 30 on September 1, 2024, and possess a bachelor’s degree certificate.
- Applicants for the Ph.D. program must be under 35 years old by September 1, 2024, and possess a master’s degree certificate.
- Applicants must be in good bodily and mental health, free from illnesses that prevent them from studying regularly or from infectious infections.
- It is necessary to have demonstrated strong academic achievement and learning abilities with an average score of at least 75% in prior academic grades.
- Test results from international standard exams including the SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB, GED, GRE, and GMAT may also be submitted by applicants.
- It is required to meet the application and admission requirements for the Northwestern Polytechnical University President Scholarship to have proficiency in both Chinese and English.
- Those who are no longer Chinese citizens and have immigrated abroad are required to maintain valid passports or citizenship documents for a minimum of four years.
- Supporting documentation, such as a certificate proving foreign nationality at birth or certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality for those who previously held Chinese citizenship and later immigrated to other countries, must be provided if one or both of the applicants’ parents are citizens of China.
