Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the UNDP Global Internship, candidates must meet one of the following educational criteria:
- Enrolled in a graduate programme, with the goal of earning a second degree from a university or its equivalent.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate programme in its last year of study (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent).
- Hold a university degree (first or second degree, or an equivalent degree), and if chosen, they must start the internship within a year of graduating.
It is also preferable to have knowledge or experience in one of the available workstream areas.
UNDP Internship Duration and Reward:
- The internship program typically lasts for a duration of 6 months.
- Interns at UNDP are entitled to receive a monthly stipend, the amount of which varies based on the duty location.
Stipends are disbursed on a monthly basis, and for part-time internship arrangements, payments are prorated accordingly.
