The European Union has recently financed an initiative called Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship (European Master for Industry in Microwave Electronics and Photonics), which is slated to run from September 1, 2023, until October 31, 2029. Compared to EMIMEO, this cutting-edge master’s programme offers additional projects and activities. The Programme Committee is hard at work improving the caliber of the curriculum and fortifying ties to businesses and research facilities.
The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Spain, the University of Brescia (UNIBS) in Italy, the University of Limoges (UNILIM) in France, and the Abbe School of Photonics at Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (FSUJena) in Germany are among the project’s collaborators. The Erasmus+ Agency’s approval is presently awaited by the consortium.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the EMINEP/Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Photonics, or Applied Physics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in areas such as signal processing, electromagnetism, telecommunications, embedded systems, analogue and digital electronics, propagation of electromagnetic waves, and principles of photonics.
- Provide evidence of academic performance, including the final grade of the bachelor’s program. Applicants may need to convert their grades using the enic-naric recognition convention.
- Possess previous professional experience, which may include industrial internships, academic projects, summer jobs, and/or research experience.
Benefits of the Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship 2024:
- Monthly Stipend: Successful recipients of the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship will receive 1400 euros each month for the entire duration of the program, up to a maximum of 24 months.

- Health and Travel Insurance: EMIMEP will provide comprehensive health and travel insurance coverage for students for the entire duration of their studies.
