Singapore International Pre Graduate Award | 2000$ Monthly Stipend

For overseas undergraduate and master’s students, the Singapore Overseas Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) is a short-term research training programme. Over the course of two to six months, participants will work with renowned experts from A*STAR’s Research Entities on a research project. A stipend of 2,000 Singaporean dollars will be given to each student to help with living and other costs.

Students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees in fields linked to engineering, biomedical science, physical science, or computing and information science should take advantage of this opportunity. Candidates of any nationality are welcome to apply for the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award.

Research opportunities under SIPGA are categorized into four areas:

  • Biomedical Sciences (BMS)
  • Physical Sciences (PS)
  • Computing and Information Sciences (CIT)
  • Engineering and Technology (E&T)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to all international students.
  • 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate and master’s students from overseas universities pursuing STEM courses.
  • Applicants should possess a good academic record.
  • Students must maintain enrollment at their home university during the attachment period.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
  • Demonstrated keen interest in pursuing a career in research.

Coverage:
$2,000 is given as a monthly stipend to coverage awardees.
