AYFN Summer Japan Culture Camp 2024 | Fully Funded

Applications for the Summer Japan Culture Camp 2024 are being accepted from kids all around the world by the ASEAN kids Friendship Network (AYFN). Held in Osaka, Japan, this fully financed summer camp offers a week-long cultural exchange programme from July 14–19, 2024. Notably, scores from the TOEFL and IELTS are not needed to participate. There are opportunities for self-funding for individuals who are not successful in obtaining the scholarship.

With its headquarters located in Indonesia, AYFN is committed to promoting relationships and knowledge sharing among youth worldwide. Travels to many nations, including South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, and other ASEAN countries, are part of their projects. Activities During the Camp:

  • Cultural tours of Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, renowned as hubs of Japanese culture.

  • Sampling authentic Japanese cuisine including sushi, udon, ramen, and more.
  • Guided walks through Kyoto’s heritage sites such as Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizudera, and Yasaka Shrine.

Applicants also have the option to purchase a self-funded package, starting at USD 199. This package does not cover expenses for flights, visa processing fees, dinner, and personal expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Scholarship applicants must be between 17 and 35 years old.
  • Self-funded applicants must be between 15 and 35 years old.
  • Applicants of all nationalities are welcome.
  • Proficiency in English communication is required.
  • Must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Demonstrated interest in Japanese culture.
  • Interest in writing and videography.
  • Active engagement with social media platforms.
