Hamas spokesman claims ceasefire discussions are stagnant despite flexibility.

Hamas leader Osama Hamdan told Reuters on Thursday that Gaza ceasefire discussions had not progressed despite the Palestinian group’s willingness.
Hamdan said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “not interested” in freeing Israeli hostages and was preventing negotiation.

«The Occupation administration is still avoiding, and discussions are caught in a vicious circle,» Hamdan told a Beirut press conference.
Egypt and Qatar, supported by the US, have failed to reach a truce.

The Territory’s Health Ministry reported 62 deaths in Gaza from Israeli shelling in the preceding 24 hours.
Israeli soldiers freed 101 Palestinians captured during the ground battle in recent weeks and months. Detainees, many of whom complained of Israeli prison mistreatment, were released via the Karm Abu Salem Crossing into southern Gaza.
Since October 7, Israel’s military operation on Gaza has killed 33,037 Palestinians and wounded 75,668, the Gaza Health Ministry reported on Thursday.
According to Israeli estimates, the Hamas-led onslaught murdered 1,200 Israelis and foreigners and seized more than 250 into Gaza as captives.
Since then, Haaretz has reported that Israeli helicopters and tanks killed many of the 1,139 troops and civilians claimed by Israel to have been killed by the Palestinian Resistance.
