Participation in the One Young World Summit 2024 in Canada, which will centre on climate change and policy, is entirely funded by the Engage Billions Scholarship. BMW Group wants to enable the next generation of leaders and acknowledges the urgency of taking climate action. Additionally, participants go to a unique “Welcome! New Parliament” celebration in Brussels. To create policies and strategies for combating climate change, officials from a range of sectors come together for the fully financed conference. Travel, lodging, food, transportation, and a trip to Brussels for the Welcome Event are all covered costs.
Over the course of four days, delegates network globally and exchange expertise, thereby serving as One Young World ambassadors. Access to financing opportunities, events, coaching, and speaking engagements are all provided by the program.

Eligibility Criteria:
- actively working to implement climate policy.
- a minimum of two years’ experience working as an adviser for any national, civil, or governmental group that focuses on climate policy.
- Participation in a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that tackles climate change and promotes democratic engagement on an active basis.
- Take a prominent role in a youth-run group that focuses on climate issues.
- Take a prominent position in a neighbourhood-based group that focuses on climate issues.
- Aged between eighteen and thirty by May of 2024.
- Ability to attend the One Young World Summit 2024, which will take place in Montreal from September 17–21.
- Availability to attend the June/July 2024 Welcome! New Parliament Youth Summit in Brussels.
