ACU Higher Education and the SDGs Network Grants 2024 | Win GBP 2,500

The ACU Higher Education and the SDGs Network Grants 2024 are currently accepting applications. These grants provide worldwide support for cooperative projects centred around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These awards, which are available to academic staff and professionals at ACU member universities across the globe, focus on a number of themes, including impact, teaching and learning, research, estates and stewardship, partnerships, and engagement. The grants have been utilized by the recipients for a range of projects, including financial literacy campaigns to boost women’s economic empowerment and energy-saving measures in Fijian schools. Applications and member universities are invited to collaborate, and the applicant’s institute may offer further financial options. Project objectives and viability, lead project expertise and experience, institutional support, impact, results, and linkage with ACU Higher Education and SDGs Network themes are some of the selection criteria. Project updates and a final report will be needed from selected applicants. Staff and students at ACU member universities can interact with and contribute to the SDGs through the Higher Education and the SDGs Network, which also provides a forum for best practices exchange, peer learning, and cooperation opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must be employed by any university that is an ACU member; eligibility is based on institutional status.
  • The concepts specified in the SDGs Network Grants Applications must be followed by applicants.
  • Projects ought to be in line with the SDGs Network’s and ACU Higher Education’s themes.
  • Applicants are not eligible if their university has already received funding from the SDGs Network Grants or ACU Higher Education.
  • To further develop Commonwealth partnerships, cooperation and involvement with other ACU member universities or organizations are encouraged.
