Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2024-25 (Fully Funded)

The Republic of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Education are pleased to announce the “Heydar Aliyev” Azerbaijan Government Scholarship for the 2024–2025 academic year. There will be 100 recipients of this esteemed five-year scholarship program amongst 100 exceptional applicants.

Selected scholars will have the chance to continue their education at prestigious Azerbaijani universities thanks to this program. Preparatory courses, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and general medicine/medical residency programs are all included in the award. Completely sponsored by the Azerbaijani government, the scholarship offers overseas students all-inclusive assistance. Coverage for international airfare, lodging, full tuition, health insurance, allowance each month, visa, and temporary residency permit will be granted to the recipients.

All academic fields are welcome to apply, and if candidates can show that they have finished their prior coursework in English, taking the IELTS exam is not required.

Financial Benefits: Fully Funded Scholarship Duration Bachelors: 4-5 Years General Medicine: 5-6 Years Master’s Program: 1.5-2 Years Medical Residency Program: 2-5 Years PhD: 3 Years The duration of the Preparatory course will be from 6 months to 1 year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Azerbaijani nationals are not permitted to apply.
Candidates must be under 35 to be considered for admission to undergraduate and general medicine programs.
Applicants must be under 40 years old to be considered for graduate and medical residency programs.
The age limit for applicants to PhD programs is 45 years old.
