The Standard Bank Bursary Program is presently accepting applications for its 2024 edition, and it welcomes submissions from driven African undergraduate and graduate students.

This Standard Bank bursary program offers a full scholarship package that includes living expenses, textbooks, housing, medical assistance, tuition, laptop, mentoring, and psychological support.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Having South African nationality
• Obtain a 65% or better average on the most recent exams (mid-year/June)
• Enroll in graduate or undergraduate programs full-time.
• To be eligible for a postgraduate bursary, you must meet the requirements for admission specified by your university.

Benefits:

The Standard Bank Group Bursary Fund covers all of the following costs associated with studying:

• tuition for universities
• lodging, whether in private homes or dorms on campus. Following the provisional bursary allocation, successful candidates will be notified of the costs associated with private accommodations, which are subject to certain limitations.
• Meals: self-catered or offered by the university
• Books and additional essential study resources
• Availability of a laptop
• A monthly payout to cover extra living costs
• Four times a year, transportation between home and college that costs the same as a bus ticket
• Funding for the first, second, third, and final years of your undergraduate education, as well as for postgraduate study up to the Master’s level, is available through the Standard Bank Group Bursary.
