The 2024 NNPC Refinery IT/SIWES Program is now accepting submissions from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Through this internship, Nigerian students can gain paid industrial training at one of the long-standing refineries in the country while also gaining theoretical and practical expertise of the petroleum refining process.

Applications for the 2024 internship are now being accepted from qualified Nigerian students through the NNPC Refinery IT/SIWES Program. The Warri refinery was built in 1988 and houses a petrochemical unit that can refine 125,000 barrels of crude oil per day. While the Federal Government is currently renovating it, it normally provides petroleum products to southern and southwest Nigeria. The management of Warri Refining & Petrochemicals Company Limited (WRPC) has approved Scholarship Region to work with SIWES/IT students from Nigerian universities and polytechnics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Enroll in a Nigerian university or polytechnic full-time.
- Fulfill the prerequisites established by your organization to be eligible to participate in an IT/SIWES program.
- Make sure that the necessary paperwork is submitted on time.
- Assign yourself to the SIWES and internship for a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve months.
