For study opportunities in the UK, University College London (UCL) extends an invitation to eligible foreign applicants to apply for the UCL IMPACT Scholarships. Successful applicants will receive full tuition (£19,300) for a Master’s program at University College London, thanks to the IMPACT scholarships.
Candidates may apply with the intention of studying full-time, part-time, or through modular, flexible programs; the scholarship will be paid pro rata to their tuition. Every year, University College London awards two UCL IMPACT scholarships to deserving candidates who have proven their need for financial assistance, have first-hand experience with inequality, and have enormous potential to significantly improve population health.
This program is in line with the fundamental principles of the UCL Master of Public Health (MPH), which center on mitigating and preventing the consequences of inequality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Explain how your experiences with inequality—whether related to money, race, gender, sexual orientation, caring obligations, traumatic childhood experiences, social exclusion, or disability—have influenced your outlook and stoked your interest in public health.
- Describe why they should be awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master of Public Health degree and how it will help them personally.
- Describe how they intend to use their experiences with inequity, the MPH and scholarship, and their future professional goals to significantly improve population health.
- Each application will be independently reviewed and scored by a panel of two assessors. The two applicants with the highest scores will be suggested for the scholarships based on a ranking of the average or combined scores from all assessors.
