Applications are now being accepted by Global Citizen for the Waislitz Global Citizen Awards 2024, which will award $250,000 in cash prizes. These honor deserving people who are fighting extreme poverty. There will be three awards given out: two prizes of $75,000 each and a $100,000 grand prize.
These grants, which are made possible by the Waislitz Foundation, Mesoblast Ltd., and Unico Capital Holdings, are intended to use creative ideas to improve society. The mission of the Waislitz Foundation is to enable people to realize their greatest potential and effect meaningful change both locally and worldwide.
The chairman and founder of the Waislitz Foundation, Alex Waislitz, is in charge of this campaign to eradicate severe poverty. His goal is to uplift and enable people all throughout the world to confront pressing problems like poverty and enhance their quality of life. Working with influencers, athletes, and artists, Global Citizen pushes government, business, and charitable leaders to make pledges and increase awareness in order to accomplish the Global Goals. This platform seeks to motivate and effect genuine change on a global scale.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be at least eighteen years old.
- Applicants from all across the world can apply for the global award.
- These are the only international awards available to individuals.
- Applicants must be able to show that they have made a difference in reducing extreme poverty for at least one to two years.
