France Émile Boutmy Scholarship 2024 | Fully Funded

Recipients of the Sciences Po Émile Boutmy Scholarships are exceptional students whose profiles fit both the standards of each course and Sciences Po’s admissions priorities. Sponsors such as foundations, businesses, and benefactors generously contribute to the Emile Boutmy scholarship fund in order to provide worthy overseas students with the opportunity to attend Sciences Po.

During events that are formally organized, scholarship winners can have direct interactions with private sponsors. The extraordinary support of sponsors, like as benefactors, businesses, and foundations, makes the Sciences Po Émile Boutmy Scholarships possible. These sponsors are eager to allow the most deserving overseas students to pursue studies at Sciences Po. During formal, scheduled events, scholarship winners can interact directly with private donors.

The Émile Boutmy Excellence Scholarship is funded in part by Total, BNP Paribas, Chalhoub Group, RATP Foundation, and L’Oréal.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to qualify for the scholarship, students need to:

  • be first-time applicants from non-EU states who have been accepted into the undergraduate or master’s program and whose household does not file taxes in the EU.

Among the students who are not qualified are:

  • Applicants from Switzerland and Norway, since they might be eligible for CROUS scholarships.
  • Candidates that have dual citizenship, including an EU citizenship.
  • Quebec candidates seeking a master’s degree (because they would be eligible for sliding scale fees comparable to those paid by applicants from Europe). On the other hand, Quebec candidates are accepted for bachelor’s degrees.
  • candidates with dual degrees at the master’s level. The only dual degrees that accept applications are the following ones:
  • the Journalism Sciences Po/Columbia University joint degree
  • the Sciences Po/Fudan University dual degree program with a focus on Europe and Asia in the global

Benefits:

Regarding the undergraduate course of study:

  • a €14,210 annual tuition assistance for the three years of the bachelor’s degree.
  • a €9,500 annual tuition grant for the three years of the undergraduate degree.
  • a €6,500 annual tuition grant for the three years of the undergraduate degree.
  • a €3,900 annual tuition subsidy for the three years of the undergraduate degree.
  • In the event that the recipient decides to pursue graduate studies at Sciences Po, the Émile Boutmy scholarship is automatically renewed.

At the graduate level:

  • The Émile Boutmy program provides a €13,100 annual tuition stipend (amount granted in 2023; amount guaranteed for 2024) for each year, which partially covers the costs of tuition for the two years of the master’s degree program
