The International Renewable Energy Agency, or IRENA, has its main office in Abu Dhabi and has been actively involved in empowering young people. IRENA is now exploring a complete rebranding, including a new logo. To that end, it is extending an invitation to global participants to submit their entries for the IRENA Youth Logo Contest 2024. The prize winner will get an invitation to the 2025 IRENA Youth Forum, which will take place in Abu Dhabi from January 9–14, 2025. IRENA will pay for the contestant’s lodging, meals, and flights.
Official recognition for the winning logo designer will be provided on the IRENA website and social media platforms. Furthermore, the chosen logo will appear on IRENA’s advertising materials and serve as the official emblem of the IRENA Youth program. Below are further specifics regarding the IRENA Logo Design Contest, including the requirements for participation.
Period: January 9–14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all ages between 18 and 35.
- Each competitor may submit a maximum of three original logo concepts.
- Submissions may be made by individuals or by groups of no more than two people.
- A brief description needs to be included with every logo design.
- The design and underlying idea should be explained in the description.
- It ought to be in line with the IRENA Youth program.
- There should be no more than 200 words in the description.
