The Malaysian government’s initiative, the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) 2024, is currently accepting applications. The program’s goal is to entice foreign students to enrol in Master’s and PhD programs at Malaysian public universities.
Both the IELTS exam and the presentation of an acceptance letter are not prerequisites for the MIS Scholarship. The scholarship pays for all tuition costs and offers a 1,500 Malaysian Ringgit monthly stipend, which is adequate to meet living expenditures in Malaysia, which are estimated to be between 700 and 800 Ringgits per month.
For the 2024–2025 intake, applicants are restricted to full-time study and may apply to MIS-designated. Malaysian universities, comprising four private and all twenty governmental institutions. The MIS Scholarship has no application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Those who live in the aforementioned nations may apply for the MIS Scholarship 2024.
- Only full-time graduate and postgraduate program applications are accepted.
- At the time of application, candidates for master’s programs and PhD programs must be under 40 or 45 years old, respectively.
- The IELTS test is not required as part of the scholarship application procedure.
- An acceptance letter is not required in order to submit an application.
Benefits:
- For the length of the program, tuition fees are covered by the scholarship, and the scholarship sponsor will pay these costs straight to the university.
- A monthly living stipend of RM 1,500.00 will be provided to scholarship recipients to help with living expenses while they pursue their education.
