A N40 million fund known as the Stanbic IBTC Scholarship is given to selected university students from each of the 36 federation states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to support them over their whole academic journey.

This program is a part of our continuous effort to support young people in Nigeria achieve their dreams and goals by providing them with a variety of educational and skill-building opportunities.
The goal of the Stanbic IBTC Scholarship program is to encourage academic success and diligence in undergraduate Nigerian students. Students who participated in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and who were recently admitted to any state or federal university in Nigeria are eligible to use it.
Eligibility Criteria:
- live in Nigeria and participated in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board-administered University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 2023 (JAMB).
- Earn a JAMB score of 200 or above on the test.
- Obtain admission and successfully finish your enrollment in a Federal or State University (“University”) in Nigeria by providing the necessary paperwork.
- The scholarship is awarded as long as you continue to be enrolled in the University’s admitted degree program.
- Employees of Stanbic IBTC and/or members of their immediate families are not eligible for the Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship.
