Eligibility Criteria:
- All study areas supported by ISTA are eligible; more information about eligibility can be found on the official website.
- By the application deadline, candidates must have earned a PhD (or its equivalent) or have four years of full-time research experience.
- The fellowship should begin no later than around eight months after the deadline, i.e., March 1, 2025, and candidates should plan to finish their PhD before then.
- In order to be eligible for a COE-Fellow award, applicants must show that their project aligns with the research themes or objectives of an ISTA Cluster of Excellence (COE) program that already exists (for more information, see the Guide for Applicants).
- No fellowship contract will be granted until a copy of the diploma or documentation of the successful defence is received.
- Upon the call deadline of December 6, 2024, researchers who were already working at ISTA are not eligible to apply for ISTA Postdoctoral Fellowships.
