Both domestic and foreign students who want to pursue undergraduate studies in Australia are eligible to apply for the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship. The University of Queensland’s Liveris Academy Scholarship offers a $40,000 award spread over four years, along with $10,000 in travel reimbursement. International students who meet the requirements can apply for the Liveris Academy Undergraduate Scholarship at the University of Queensland.
The scholarship was established in 2019 by Andrew and Paula Liveris and is funded by an endowment fund.
The Liveris Academy seeks to prepare the next generation of leaders to take on major tasks in an era of swift changes in the environment, technology, and socioeconomics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- completed Year 12 or intends to finish it in the two years leading up to the award year (2022, 2023)
- have, in the year of the award, completed no more than one semester toward any of the following programs:
- Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree
- Engineering Bachelor’s Degree with Honors
- An integrated program for engineering
- Science Bachelor
- Advanced Science Bachelor with Honors
- Information technology bachelor’s degree
- a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics
- A dual curriculum that incorporates one of these disciplines
- have not completed any postsecondary coursework at the bachelor’s degree or above before beginning the authorized program (special studies excluded)
- Don’t accept another scholarship that the director thinks is comparable.
