For the academic year 2024–2025, international students pursuing undergraduate degrees at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK are eligible to apply for the Dean’s Scholarship in Events and Leisure Management. This fully financed £6,000 fellowship is given to fifteen deserving candidates. Students pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Events and Leisure Management will acquire a global outlook on the strategic significance of the rapidly evolving leisure sector. They will gain knowledge of the managerial facets of event organizing, putting them in the forefront of one of the industries with the quickest rate of growth worldwide. Through a research project aided by a personal tutor, they will also experience the difficulties associated with leisure management policy and planning while delving into the strategic role of the leisure industry at both the local and global levels.
Eligibility Criteria:
- In order to enroll in the BSc (Hons) Events and Leisure Management (top-up) course, you must be offered admission and meet any requirements.
- You must be able to pay for any extra costs—like field trips—that your course may need.
- Research must be self-funded.
- Candidates enrolled in a Sheffield Hallam course at a partner university are not permitted to apply.
