Istanbul, Turkey 2024 will host the sponsored Young Public Diplomacy Summit, a forum situated in a city that connects Europe and Asia. This summit offers a chance for young individuals from various backgrounds to become fully immersed in the field of diplomacy. The summit, which is slated to take place from September 5–8, 2024, will feature a number of workshops and modules aimed at improving participants’ knowledge of the ways in which art and activism interact as well as the function of culture in society.
The program, which accepts applications from all over the world, includes field trips to NGOs, government agencies, embassies, and cultural places. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 40 is eligible. Inspired by Rumi and Yunus Emre’s contributions to public diplomacy, participants will learn about the interaction of visual arts, music, and cinema with diplomacy as well as strategies for battling misinformation and maximising the impact of poetry, prose, and narrative.
