Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be nationals of Commonwealth nations, with the exception of South Africa.
  • must enrol at the University of Pretoria in 2025 to start their studies.
  • must apply in order to be admitted to UP for the 2025–2026 school year.
  • Needed to have chosen a possible supervisor.
  • have to provide the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) with their academic records.
  • To be eligible for admission to UP in 2025, applicants must have finished their postgraduate or master’s degree within the previous two years.
  • Must be younger than forty years old.
  • This grant is not available to PhD or Master’s students who are enrolled at the University of Pretoria or who have previously attended.
