Kamala Harris Endorses Joe Biden’s Past Accomplishments but Skips over Campaigning for Presidency
Speaking at a ceremony in Washington, Kamala Harris said Joe Biden has achieved ‘unparalleled’ presidency during his term in office. This was her first address since Biden on Sunday said he will not seek re-election and has endorsed Harris to do so.
Speaking at the event that was dedicated to the championship athletes of the university, Harris stressed Biden’s honesty, tenacity, and patriotism. She focused on what he achieved in one term saying he has done more than most presidents with two terms.
“Joe Biden has managed achieve so much in the past three years than any other president in the modern history,” Harris stated. “Just in one term, he has achieved more than most presidents that have spent two terms in office. ”
She said she appreciated Biden’s honesty and work ethic, adding that she’s a living witness of the fact that Biden is a president for the American people and they are very grateful for his service to the country.
Harris does not yet have the official nomination of the Democratic party; she is expected to receive it during the convention in Chicago but there is no certainty that she will not be challenged. She is expected to be up against Donald Trump in November in the forthcoming election.
