Applications are being accepted for the 2024 Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) Essay Competition by the Federal Ministry of Finance in partnership with the NESG.
The goal of the 2024 NESG Essay Competition is to inspire young college students to become enthusiastic about national development. The chosen individuals will be offered internships, certifications, and cash grants. Participants are encouraged to investigate the interrelated facets of inclusive development, business dynamism, social security, innovation, and stakeholder engagement in the essay competition on “Collaborative Action for Growth, Competitiveness, and Stability.”
Essays should discuss how fostering inclusive growth can improve stability and competitiveness; they should also stress the importance of corporate dynamism in economic growth; they should stress the necessity of a safe society; and they should look at ways to foster innovation and digital transformation.
Participants should also emphasize how crucial stakeholder cooperation is to attaining equitable and sustainable success.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Entries must come from undergraduate students in higher education who are African.
- Essays have to be original works of the author and written in the English language.
- Entries are limited to one per person.
- A word count of 1,500 is the limit.
- AI-generated or plagiarized entries will be rejected.
- The APA reference style should be used.
- On August 14, 2024, at midnight (WAT), all entries must be received.
