Eligibility Criteria:
- At the time of application, candidates must be employed as postdocs or have equivalent experience.
- At the time of application, candidates cannot be finishing their PhD or waiting on the results of their viva or corrections submission.
- To apply, a person must be based outside of the United Kingdom. Individuals who are currently residing in the UK or who work primarily for a UK institution are not eligible.
- Short fieldwork excursions overseas may be allowed, however research for the Visiting Fellowship must be done in the UK. During a six-month fellowship, visiting fellows are permitted to conduct fieldwork outside of the UK for up to one month.
- Candidates may be employed permanently or for a certain period of time, but their contract must last past the Visiting Fellowship’s expiration date. Scholars who are independent are also welcome to apply
