Real Madrid win UEFA Super Cup over Atalanta 2-0.

Real Madrid defeated Atalanta 2-0 in Warsaw to win their record sixth UEFA Super Cup. Kylian Mbappé scored the second goal on his much-anticipated debut, while Federico Valverde started the scoring for Los Blancos.

Both teams nearly scored in the first half, but the woodwork blocked them. Marten de Roon’s cross struck the crossbar after Eder Militao diverted it, while Rodrygo’s shot hit the bar before halftime.

Atalanta opened the second half well, but Real Madrid seized over in the 59th. Vinicius Junior set up Valverde for a tap-in with his speed. Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso tried hard, but Mbappé’s well-placed strike, helped by Jude Bellingham, won the game for Madrid.

Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric became the first players to win the Super Cup five times in this match, which also marked Mbappé’s debut.

In their first Super Cup appearance, Atalanta fought hard, but Real Madrid’s experience and firepower won. Vinicius Junior was a standout, tormenting Atalanta’s defense and helping Madrid win.

Real Madrid’s win confirms their dominance in European football, setting the foundation for a good season.
