Kylian Mbappe’s Twitter Hacked: Strange Messages and Cryptocurrency Scam

Real Madrid’s newly signed Kylian Mbappe’s Twitter account was hacked on Wednesday night. The breach caused weird messages that puzzled supporters and distracted from his great play.

The attacker posted weird claims on Mbappe’s account, including that he will join Manchester United in 2028. Tottenham and joining the Pro Clubs squad “Girth and Turf,” which has starred Luke Littler and Wayne Rooney, were also mentioned. The hacker also controversially said Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Lionel Messi.

Like other high-profile attacks, the hack promoted a bitcoin hoax. The hacker promoted fake cryptocurrency schemes on Mbappe’s account, like in past high-profile social media hacks.

The odd tweets were erased, suggesting Mbappe and his crew recovered control. As of early Thursday morning, several of Mbappe’s 18-month-old tweets and answers were missing. Resurfacing tweets from August 2024 began slowly.

In the midst of off-field turmoil, Mbappe and Real Madrid will choose their opponents for the first season of the new Champions League on Thursday morning.
