Eligibility Criteria:

  • Eligibility: The candidate must be the dependent of a current GSIS member or pensioner, which includes regular members’ children and pensioners’ children with permanent total disabilities (PTDs).
  • GSIS Contribution: The pensioner or member must have made at least fifteen years’ worth of current GSIS premium payments.
  • Admission: The dependant must be admitted to or now enrolled in a four- or five-year program at any year level at a Higher Education Institution (HEI) that has received Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognition.
  • Income Limit: In order to guarantee that the scholarship supports those who are financially disadvantaged, the total yearly family income of the participant must not surpass PHP 500,000.
  • Age: At the time of application, the applicant cannot be older than 21.
  • Academic Performance: In the most recent completed academic year, the applicant must have a general weighted average (GWA) of at least 80% or its equivalent.

Benefits:

  • Tuition: A PHP 20,000 scholarship award is given to pay tuition costs.
  • Monthly Stipend: To assist with living expenditures, an extra PHP 2,000 is provided on a monthly basis.

Required Documents:

  • Certificate of Good Moral Character: Get an official document attesting to the applicant’s moral rectitude from the school.
