The University of Leicester and the UK Government’s Chevening Scholarship program have partnered to create the Chevening Leicester Partner Scholarship. A return ticket, full tuition waiver, living expense stipend, and extra allowances will be given to 2025 Chevening Scholarship recipients to enable them to fully fund their studies at the University of Leicester. The Chevening-Leicester Partner Scholarship, an incredible chance for students from Chevening-eligible nations to fulfill their academic aspirations, is proudly offered by the University of Leicester.
The University of Leicester is a proud member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and has welcomed more than 60 Chevening Scholars from around the world since 2013.
Two fully funded scholarships will be awarded under the Chevening Leicester Partner Scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year. Recipients will get a complete support package that enables them to focus entirely on their studies without worrying about money.
Eligibility Criteria:
- must be a citizen of a nation qualified for Chevening.
- Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a one-year taught Master’s program at the School of Geography, Geology, and the Environment or the College of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities.
- The program must begin in September 2025.Be a national of a nation that qualifies for Chevening.
- After completing your studies, make a commitment to stay in your native country for a minimum of two years.
- possess an undergraduate degree that entitles you to enrollment in a postgraduate program at a university in the United Kingdom.
- possess a minimum of 2,800 hours, or two years, of job experience.
