Givers of the University of Manitoba Undergraduate Bursary award a total of $240,000 to deserving students enrolled in this Canadian university. International undergraduate students who exhibit financial need and have good academic status are eligible for the University of Manitoba International Undergraduate Student Bursary. The International Undergraduate Student Bursary is available from the University of Manitoba to assist international students who have a high academic record and can prove their need for financial assistance. Those enrolled in fall and winter terms of Bachelor’s degree programs are eligible for this bursary.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must finish their courses in both the autumn and winter quarters in order to be eligible.
- A minimum of nine credit hours, or 60% of the total course load, must be enrolled in and completed by the student each term.
- If graduate students are registered with the Faculty of Graduate Studies as full-time students during the fall and winter terms, they are not required to complete the required number of credit hours.
- Minimum GPA standards must be met by students: new students (fresh out of high school) must have an average of 70% or above on their grade 12 transcript, while continuing students must have a minimum degree GPA of 2.0.
- Mature student status accepted students may also be eligible for bursary consideration.
- The application must include a detailed record of any financial need.
