A fully financed 12-month opportunity for PhD scholars to lecture, carry out post-doctoral research, or do both in the USA is provided by the Fulbright Scholar Program for Pakistan 2025. While in the United States, participants will carry out study at esteemed colleges and exchange perspectives on Pakistani culture. In addition to supporting visas, the program pays for living expenses, health insurance, plane travel, and incidental research fees.
The program allows successful applicants to bring one qualified dependent. IELTS or TOEFL are not necessary. Fifteen scholars, comprising two senior scholars and thirteen early-career researchers, will be chosen for the program with the goal of promoting societal change via cooperation and knowledge sharing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- With the exception of clinical medicine, applications from a variety of backgrounds, including academics, professionals, and artists, are encouraged.
- Candidates must be citizens of Pakistan who currently live and work in Pakistan in order to be eligible.
- Particular encouragement is extended to women and disabled persons from AJK, KPK, Baluchistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Sindh, and Southern Punjab to apply.
- A Ph.D. or terminal degree in their relevant fields is required of applicants.
- Candidates must to have at least two years of relevant degree holding experience.
- People who are dual citizens of Pakistan and the United States are ineligible.
- You are not eligible to apply if your spouse or child is a citizen of the United States and is above eighteen.
- Applicants who have taken part in long-term programs or studied in the United States within the previous five years are not eligible.
- People working for or connected to the U.S. Department of State or USEFP are not eligible
