Eligibility Criteria:
- International students are eligible to apply for the Taiwan NSTC fellowship.
- International students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees at overseas universities are eligible candidates.
- Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China applicants are not accepted.
- Every applicant should concentrate on important fields of study and research in Taiwan, such as the social sciences and humanities.
- International students are also eligible if they have finished their exchange programs in Taiwan and have not gone back to their home countries.
- Candidates must be fluent in either Mandarin, Taiwanese, or English. They must specify their degree of fluency in each language on their application and provide documentation to back it.
