Kamala Harris Promises Fresh Leadership, Distances Herself from Biden in Fiery Interview

Published:

Vice President Kamala Harris, in her first interview with a conservative news network, made it clear that her presidency would not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s. Harris emphasized that, if elected, she would bring fresh perspectives and new ideas, stating, “My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency. I represent a new generation of leadership.”

The nearly 30-minute interview grew intense as Harris defended her positions, particularly on immigration, while addressing policy differences between herself and former President Donald Trump. When questioned about Biden’s policies, Harris reiterated that she would govern differently, bringing her personal and professional experiences into the White House.

Harris also addressed immigration, expressing regret over the deaths of individuals released after entering the U.S. illegally under Biden’s administration. She acknowledged her previous stance from 2019 on decriminalizing illegal border crossings but clarified that her views have evolved, promising to follow the law strictly.

In the interview, she also heavily criticized Trump, stating that people are “exhausted” by his behavior, calling him unstable, and focusing on his divisive rhetoric, which she argued continues to harm the country.

Ultimately, Harris sought to distance herself from both Biden and Trump, signaling that her leadership would take the country in a new direction.
