International students may now apply to the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom (UK) for the 2025 Global Futures Scholarships. The scholarship, which is worth more than £4.5 million in total and is open to both undergraduate and graduate students, will be awarded over the course of three consecutive years. Offering more than 330 scholarships to overseas students beginning their studies in September 2025, the University of Manchester is thrilled to share this news. These scholarships, which have a combined value of more than £4.5 million, are offered to candidates working toward undergraduate and graduate degrees.
The University of Manchester, a renowned public research university, was founded in 2004 as a result of the union of Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
Eligibility Criteria:
- To be deemed domiciled in one of the designated countries, applicants must have lived there for the majority of the previous three years.
- Applicants cannot be sponsored; they must be self-funded.
- Applications for the programs in architecture, dentistry (BDS), medicine (MBChB), or any other course requiring an integrated foundation year are not eligible for the award.
- By May 23, 2025, applicants must have made The University of Manchester their FIRM UCAS preference.
- The scholarship is not available to applicants who have already studied in the United Kingdom.
- Only full-time courses offered at The University of Manchester’s Manchester, UK campus are eligible for the award; candidates for blended and remote learning programs are ineligible.

- More than one hundred £24,000 merit-based undergraduate scholarships are available from the University of Manchester.
- For a period of three years, international students from specific nations worldwide will receive a scholarship worth £8,000 year.

Master’s awards:
