Future leaders are invited to the United States through the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) to experience American higher education, gain vital professional skills, and become fully immersed in new cultures and beliefs. World Learning is in charge of overseeing the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program, which is sponsored by the US Department of State and supported by the US government. All academic subjects are eligible to apply for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program, which does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, race, color, religion, ethnicity, or disability. The selection process is merit-based, extremely difficult, and prioritizes academic prowess, leadership potential, and preparedness for study in the United States.
Since its inception in 2008, this program has helped over 2,500 students, who now leave the United States prepared to lead in their communities and professions. Numerous Global UGRAD alums go on to win Fulbright scholarships, land coveted internships, and work in government and industry back home.
