An opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in the UK entirely funded by the University of Westminster Sanctuary Scholarship is provided. The £12,000 Postgraduate Sanctuary Scholarship from the University of Westminster comes with a 12-month tuition price free. Scholarship options are offered by the University of Westminster to foreign students who want to study in the UK.
Students who are not eligible for Student Finance’s postgraduate financial aid but are seeking asylum or possessing refugee status in the UK can apply for the University of Westminster Sanctuary Scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- must possess a full-time master’s degree offer from the University of Westminster, to begin in January 2025 or September 2024.
- Has to be a UK resident.
- must, prior to filing your application, possess one of the following permissible immigration statuses:
- asylum seeker from the UK
- Discretionary right to remain in the UK (after an application for asylum)
- restricted stay in the UK (as a result of an asylum claim)
- gained UK refugee status
- Applicants who already have a master’s degree are not accepted.
- Applicants must not be students who qualify for Student Finance’s taught postgraduate student loans.
